Aolan Leads Two National Industry Standard Drafting Meetings Successfully Held in Fuzhou

2025-06-06

On May 27, 2025, Aolan successfully hosted the revision meeting for the national industry standard JB/T 11964 "Fill Media for Evaporative Cooling" and the first drafting working meeting for the "Wet Membrane Humidifier for Data Centers and Communication Equipment Rooms" at the Shokai Narada Hot Spring Hotel in Fuzhou. The meetings were organized by the National Technical Committee on Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Equipment of Standardization Administration of China, the China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, and Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Products Inspection Institute Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Aolan (Fujian) Industrial Co., Ltd. The aim was to provide more scientific and standardized industry standards for the evaporative cooling and wet membrane humidification sectors.

Experts gathered to discuss the standard formulation, including Professor-level Senior Engineer Zhang Mingsheng from Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Products Inspection Institute Co., Ltd.; Zhang Xiuping, Group Chief Expert of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Ma Jinping, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee on Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Equipment; Shao Naiyu, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association; Professor Huang Xiang from Xi'an Polytechnic University; Qiu Jinyou, Vice Dean of the School of Ecological Environment and Urban Construction at Fujian University of Technology; Huang Hualing, Chairman of Aolan; Professor-level Senior Engineer He Huaming, Chief Engineer of Aolan; along with representatives from Midea Heating & Ventilating Equipment Co., Ltd., Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., Nantong Kunlun Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Inttech Technology Co., Ltd., and more than ten other industry experts.

During the meetings, Guo Gaiying, Senior Engineer and Assistant to the Chief Engineer of Aolan, provided a detailed report on the background, progress, and initial draft revisions of the two standards. Participating experts engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues within the standards, including professional terminology, specification requirements, test conditions, inspection rules, and data sources. The goal was to ensure these standards comprehensively address the diverse practical needs of the industry and provide more thorough guidance.

The meetings yielded numerous constructive opinions and suggestions from the attending experts and leaders, driving further refinement of the standards. The formulation of these two standards will fill the gap in standardization for evaporative cooling fill media and data center wet membrane humidifiers. This is significant for enhancing product quality consistency, reducing user selection costs, and promoting technological iteration within the industry.

As a leading enterprise in the industry, Aolan, leveraging its technical expertise and professional experience in evaporative cooling and wet membrane humidifiers, actively promotes the formulation of these two national industry standards. The successful conclusion of these meetings marks a substantive step forward in the development of the standards, laying a more solid foundation for the standardized development of the industry.
