In mid-January 2024, the indirect evaporative cooling chiller cooling project for the big data center of an operator in Guangdong undertaken by Aolan (Fujian) Industrial Co., Ltd. reached the completion standard and passed acceptance smoothly. The successful implementation of this project has laid a solid foundation for Outland to carry out more business in the professional field of data center; The project is located in the high temperature and high humidity area along the coast of South China. The problem of high energy consumption of data center caused by traditional refrigeration solution is an important problem to be solved during the construction of this project. The application of Aolan indirect evaporative cooling energy saving technology in this project has effectively solved the above problems for the data center.
This project is a national heavyweight project and an important part of the national big data strategy of "counting in the East and counting in the west". The big data center has a dedicated building physical space, computing resources with powerful processing power (including dynamic allocation of computing resources), sufficient network resources (including dynamic traffic regulation), and strong basic operation and maintenance capabilities, and how to ensure the safe operation of the data center and the energy consumption of ventilation and cooling is always an important issue to be solved.
Low-carbon energy saving ,saving and intensive are becoming the key development directions of the data center industry. Making full use of natural cold sources is the main means to save energy and reduce consumption in data center air conditioning systems. Indirect evaporative cooling technology is in a dominant position in making full use of natural cold sources and has become a The “new favorite” of the data center.
Aolan indirect evaporative cooling chiller has attracted much attention for its high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection characteristics. Compared with the traditional air conditioning system, the product integrates the indirect evaporation cooling + direct evaporation cooling technology, the use of efficient indirect evaporation core and direct evaporation filler, so that the unit outlet temperature than the traditional open cooling tower outlet temperature can be 4-5℃ lower, so that the refrigeration system to use the natural cold source time is maximally extended. In this project, Aolan undertakes the research and development, production, installation, commissioning and other work of indirect evaporative cooling chiller. With its superb technology, Aolan quickly and efficiently realized the project landing. This project uses a total of 40 indirect evaporation chiller AGS205(140), one system for every 10 units, a total of 4 systems, 3 in used and 1in standby. In the summer weather of high temperature and high humidity, the indirect evaporation chiller is used as a cooling tower to provide cooling water cooling service for the water-cooled chiller. In the transitional spring, autumn and winter, the indirect evaporative chiller is directly used as a cold source to provide cold water to the terminal to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction in the system.
