On March 28, 2023, the signing ceremony of appointing Professor Huang Xiang of Xi'an University of Engineering as the chief scientist of Aolan was held in Aolan's headquarters in Fuzhou. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Chairman Huang Hualing, Professor Huang Xiang and managers of Aolan.

Chairman Huang Hualing delivered a speech: The appointment of Professor Huang Xiang as the chief scientist aims to bring a new model, a new path and a new thinking for the scientific and technological innovation of Aolan, which is a landmark event for the development of Aolan to enter a new stage of technological upgrading. Aolan should take the appointmen as a new start, give a new mission to technological innovation, so that all  technical talents can come to the forefront of enterprise and realize the technical role changing from service to leading.

Chen Zhiyi, director of Fuzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a speech: after listening to the speech of Chairman Huang Hualing, he fully felt the firm confidence of Aolan in insisting on leading the enterprise by scientific and technological innovation. The cooperation between Aolan and Prof. Huang Xiang is a positive exploration of the new model of industry-university-research-use, which helps to further improve the R&D level and technical strength of the enterprise and promote more technical achievements to be transformed into the ground.

Prof. Huang Xiang recalls the history of his relationship with Aolan: in 2008, he first cooperated with Aolan and jointly completed the national standard for evaporative coolers , established the Evaporative Cooling Air Conditioning Working Committee of China ; in 2018, he cooperated with Aolan for the second time and jointly undertook the "13th Five-Year Plan" national key research and development program. This is the third cooperation between the two sides, and it is the best time for the development of the industry. We hope that both sides can give full play to their respective advantages and jointly promote the high-quality development of the evaporative cooling air conditioning industry.

Aolan and Professor Huang Xiang started their relationship in 2008, and the development of Aolan has gone through several stages:

The first stage is from 1998 to 2006, the import substitution stage , where Aolan, as the first enterprise to bring evaporative coolers, filled the blank in the domestic market. From 2003, Aolan began to develop and produce independently, gradually achieving import substitution and opening up the export market.

The second stage is from 2006 to 2013, product innovation stage,Aolan has developed more than 200 new evaporative cooler products, formulated the first China standard "evaporative cooler" and established the first national evaporative cooling comprehensive performance laboratory. Aolan products have also changed from rough production to scale and standardization, which has established the first brand status of Aolan products in the domestic market.

The third stage is from 2013 to 2022 ,the technology iteration stage, Aolan increased the investment in R&D, expanded the R&D team, and successfully developed a variety of products such as indirect evaporative cooling , LDAC, fireproof wet pad, and indirect evaporative pad. By constantly focusing on technological innovation, Aolan has always maintained its leading position in the field of evaporative cooling air conditioners.

In the future, Aolan will keep close cooperation with the research team lead by Professor Huang Xiang, promote the evaporative cooling business to continue to move forward, open a new round of scientific research exploration together, and help the evaporative cooling industry to develop better and faster.
